Parent Involvement
Connection with parents
Parent involvement is an integral part of the Kindergarten experience at KL International Kidsclub. Parents are the child’s first mentor and educator, and we are now stepping into the role of influencing their children in a way that will help to enrich the relationship with the parents and aid in the growth and development processes of the child as an individual.
Parents will be provided with a Parent Handbook which will cover information that will help guide you through this Kindergarten experience throughout the year. Parents will also be required to sign a statement confirming that they have read the Parent Handbook.
In the Parent Handbook, there will be important information regarding registration, daily routines, discipline, health and social policies, staff, safety, scheduling, volunteerism, fees and payment, drop-off and pick-up procedures, etc.
We encourage our parents to take an active role in their child’s education, and offer lots of opportunity to visit, observe, learn and volunteer.
Conferences
Two in one term, we invite you to regularly scheduled formal conferences, but also encourage you to discuss your child’s progress with us at any time during the year.
Observation
Come by for a visit to see our busy classrooms, as children work on counting, language, spatial relationships and more using educational tools. To make an appointment to observe a class, simply contact the school office via phone or email.
Volunteering
We offer many opportunities to participate in your child’s experiences. To find out more, contact the School master.
Parent Education
We host regular Parent Education meetings to promote a greater understanding of our school and provide helpful advice on the full range of parenting issues.
